Where It Began: The Table
There was always a bottle on the table.
Growing up, it was just Mom's sauce. A Panamanian recipe she made from scratch and put on the table without a second thought. No occasion needed, it just showed up.
She made it to be shared.
The Moment Everything Changed: THE COOKOFF
The Moment Everything Changed
The founder pulled out the family recipe and added one thing: mango. Just enough to cut the heat and give it some brightness, tropical instead of just hot.
It won the cookoff. It also tasted like home.
THE NAME: Why Cha Cha?
Named for the woman who started it all.
Strong-willed. Energetic. A little spicy. She could walk into a room and everyone knew it.
The sauce works the same way.
THE BELIEF: Food should never be boring.
Not hotter. More alive.
Meals are moments, and the sauce you bring out when people are over becomes part of that, whether anyone notices it or not.
That's the job Cha Cha has.
